My step-daughter is 15 months old. My step-daughter was born in Ky. Her mother moved her to TN 4 weeks ago. Her father lives in TX where the child was conceived. Where would the jurisdicition be at for visitation and custody issues. Child support has been established.

Re: jurisdiction

If the child now resides in TN and meets the residency requirements (usually six months), the custody/visitation can be determined there. Six months means when the case is heard, so if she has been there3 1/2 months or more, she should take action in TN.
