Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Tennessee
Expense Report not paid by employer
Husband has paid an aviation bill of $2,400 for his employer in VA. We live in TN. Employer promised via promisary note to pay us back $2,400 - which we paid cash. Now - after 3 months - he is still not making any move to pay monies back. How can we get money back? Thank you,
Marie

Depending upon the terms of the prommissory note, you can probably sue in General Sessions in your county for the amount of the note, court costs and attorneys fees. I would suggest that you contact an attorney to review the terms and conditions of the note.
