Legal Question in Employment Law in Tennessee
Same Work/Less Pay/Different Title
I have worked in HR for a Fortune 500 company for 6 years. I am not an HR Manager; however, my duties and responsibilities have mirrored the other HR Mgrs in my region for approx. I just applied for an HR Mgr position within my company and was turned down for an outside candidate. Given I have been ''doing the job'' for a while, can I take legal action?

If you were passed over and/or paid less for a discriminatory or retaliatory reason, then the law will provide a remedy.
