Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

What do I do about a lawsuit and a false police report.

I am currently being sued for an amount not to exceed 1,000,000 dollars for a car accident that happened 1 year ago which involves a police report that submitted false statements. Also, when reading the report I found that I was the only one that was tested for drugs and alcohol. The other person was not tested for either. What should I do? I talked to this person's lawyer and he said that they were just trying to get compensation for his injuries but I was turned away at the hospital without being treated. I don't know what to do because I have never been in an accident before in my life. I need advice.

If you have insurance, you need to give the insurance company a copy of the lawsuit so you automobile insurance company can provide you with an attorney to defend the action. If you do not have insurance, is there any insurance on the vehicle you were driving? If not, you will need to retain an attorney to represent you so a default judgment is not entered against you.
