traffic ticket
what is the ettiquett for spliting the cost of traffic ticket costs when 3 couples are in the vehicle. I was driving a friends car as the designated driver and got a ticket for speeding, also for the friends tags being expired, no registration and no proof of insurance.

If you were speeding, you pay your speeding ticket. Arguably, the owner of the car (based on etiquette not actual law as I am unfamiliar with TN law) should be the one paying for their tags being expired and not having insurance, but you should probably contact an attorney about this. You can't make someone that isn't liable for the violation pay for the ticket.
