Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Intent of deceased

My brother is executor of our father's will. Our father left

all his assets to my brother and me. He specified an

extra $100,000 to my brother and the remaining assets

to be shared equally two ways. The estate was over a

million dollars. However, $900,000 was in CD's with

my brother's name on them in case Dad became ill and

my brother needed access to the money for Dad's

benefit. I have been told that all the CD's will go to my

brother even though that's not what our father intended.

What should I do?

Re: Intent of deceased

I recommend seeking a probate attorney in your area to fully review your case immediately. If you want to bring an action to contest the distribution of the estate, you'll need to act quickly.
