Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Buyer's Remorese

I made a downpayment on a time share package but would like to cancel my contract. The contract makes no stipulations for cancellation. Can I cancel under buyer's remorse?

Howdy:

The contract ought to mention cancellation. And, it will depend on where the timeshare is, where you signed the contract, and the governing law for the contract.

It is my recollection that there is no cooling off period in Arizona ... but I don't know that for sure.

Re: Buyer's Remorese

If you haven't seen the property, you have 72 hourts from when you signed the contract to cancel in writing as specified under Reg. Z.

The contract should specify how the contract may be cancelled.
