Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
contract law - no hire clause
I am employed by company 1. My services were sold to company 2 through a PO backed by a master services agreement that has a no hire clause. I no longer wish to work for company 1 but would like to work for company 2 which I'm currently at under this PO. If I resign from company 1, what are implications to work as an independent contractor to company 2? I don't want to cause any problems for myself or company 2. company 2 has not approached me.

Re: contract law - no hire clause
Texas courts tend to enforce properly worded non-compete agreements. You should have an attorney go over your agreements before your quit or approach company 2.
