I have a dba and i am starting a llc how do i transfer the ownership of the
dba to the llc

Any attorney will say it depends on what the dba owns. Various things (leases, cars, etc.) may need to be transferred to the LLC. The DBA itself may need to be refiled. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
