Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
Laws on faxing
My Partners and I, teach the following programs:
Tabc and foodservice.
We fax our clients our monthly schedules.
We have called them to ask for the permission to send our schdule and do so if they agree.
Sometimes we find new establshments open up but the only post the fax number..
My question is can we fax our schedule to them seing we cannot get permission or is there a law stating e cannot.
Thank you for taking the time to read this

Re: Laws on faxing
There is no law which prohibits you from faxing to a number when you have not received prior permission.
As a PR matter some don't like "spam" faxes, but the fact remains they are not illegal.
