Legal Question in Business Law in Texas
LLC Subsidiary
I plan on starting an LLC. I would like this LLC to encompass several subsidiary companies. Should I organize each individual subsidiary company as it's own distinct LLC or will the parent LLC provide enough legal protection?

Re: LLC Subsidiary
Without the vaguest idea of what the purpose may be for the LLC, or anything else, it's impossible to answer your question. You'd best sit down with a lawyer that's experienced in putting together businesses and discuss the matter. It may take an hour or two of attorney's time, but it may save you substantial sums.
