can I be a member and/or a trustee of more than one non-profit corporation?

Any attorney will say you can, unless the bylaws or other organizational documents of a particular non-profit say otherwise. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.

Generally yes. Mr. Murphy is right to note that some particular organizations have their own requirements which you would have to honor. Additionally, if the two non-profits compete against one another, then being a director of both might create a conflict of interest. There may be other problems as well. I recommend discussing your situation with a local lawyer before you accept any such positions.
