Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

My ex-husband has had custody of our daughter since we divorced during my military career. At the age of seven he moved with no forwarding address or number and I was not able to find her until recently. I then discovered that she has been living with her aunt since she was seven. Now that I have been back in her life, she has begun to rebel against her other relatives. Her aunt now wants to get a restraining order against me because I let her pick out some thongs for underwear. What are my legal rights?

Ask court for child custody modification (ask to give you sole custody). As a mother you have priority over any other relatives, such as, aunt, uncle, grandparents, etc. Aunt has no standing in a child custody dispute when where is a fit mother willing to take custody of the child, while a father apparently neglected his responsibilities for a while. You might need a family law lawyer/divorce lawyer.
