Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

Walmart refused to sell me a t.v.

We went to Walmart this evening to purchase a Samsung 32'' model 330. It was on sale for $498 and we thought this was a great deal. As we asked a clerk about our interest to purchase, he gave us an attitude and response of they don't have any in stock and Samsung is not releasing any at all. He said they are back ordered and no store has it not even other states. We didn't quite understand it and asked if they could check anoher store and was told again by a second gentleman who came from the back that no Walmarts have them and Samsung is just not releasing any to anyone. We went across to Best Buy and found the same t.v. for the same price. We told the guys there what Walmart told us and they were surprised and then another gentleman laughed and apologized and said that was not true and could not believe we were told this. Keep in mind, this Walmart in Highland Village Texas protested against having a Walmart to begin with. This is our 4rth time there and each time there-I don't see any other hispanics there. I'm sure some may go in there--but this area is known for their ways anyway. I just think it's wrong that they get away with lying to customers. I looked at Samsung website and couldn't find no such excuse.

Unfortunately, refusing to sell you an item is not a form of discrimination, luckily for you, Best Buy had your TV. I hope that you enjoy it. God bless you.
