Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
contractor will not finish
i hired a contractor to do a room addition. we signed a contract and he began the room addition. i have paid him 95% of the money and can not get him to come and finish the job that is only half done. what can i do legally. can i sue him or put a lien on his work vehicle? thanks

Write a letter to him stating that since he's refused to complete the work, he's off the job. You'll have the work completed and sue him for what it cost over his bid price.
