Easement use by power company on private property
There is an electrical transformer on a concrete slab in my backyard. Am I entitled to compensation for the item being located there?

Probably not, but check in the real property records to see if an easement has been granted to the power company. No easement, you would be entitled to compensation.

Most likely you bought the house subject to the utility easement; so no. But check your plat or survey documents from when you bought the house to make sure.
