Can I cancel a re-roofing contract within 48 business hours of signing.

If you have to do this, then give then notice ASAP in writing to limit their claim for cost of materials, etc. But I'd have to research this to give you a legal opinion, which you would be wise to get.

No, not unless the contract states in writing that you can do so.
