Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
What is the next step after a Mechanic's Lien?
I did a remodeling job for a customer who paid all but $965.00 of a $4465.00 job. I placed a Mechanic's Lien on the property in an attempt to collect the balance due to me. Are there any additional actions that can be taken to collect the rest of what is owed to me or must I wait until the property is sold again?

You can sue to foreclose on your mechanic's lien, breach of contract, and sworn account. You'll need a lawyer to handle that.
