Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

approved for contract on vehicle- never received paperwork, but have the car

Traded in 2 vehicles on another car. Was approved. Four requests for contract and payment book, but have received any. They have already sold my trade-ins and I have the vehicle I traded for. What can I do? Can I take the vehicle back and walk away owing nothing since they have never followed through on my paperwork?

No, since they have your contract. Write to them, with a cc to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Fraud Div. of the Attorney General's offices, demanding a copy of your contract and your payment book so you can do what you are supposed to do. I'd send the letter by certified mail, return receipt requested, so there's no question they received your mail.

Never, ever, walk away without getting a copy of a contract you've just signed. And never leave blank spaces in the contract to be filled in later!

No, Get your contract and book through calm communication. If you can not get a payment book then send all payments and keep proof for future legal action
