Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Hotel Rooms and Hypodermic Needles Found in Them
My question is this, what can I do if a hypodermic needle poked both me and my five year old son? Is that grounds to file a suit against them especially since I spent severals hours in the ER with my 5 yr old and then the next day he had to draw blood which they are currently testing and he also had to have a tetnus shot. I do not have insurance and I haven't gone to the clinic yet but intend to a.s.a.p. Then to add insult to injury the owner of the Hotel implies that the needle is either mine or my husbands and he tell us we need to leave when all we wanted was a different room. My son is going to have to be checked out again in six months meaning more blood drawn and that will make me emotionally stressed til those results come in to the doctors. Is there something that can be done about the negligence of this Hotel?
