Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
An Internet Company owes me money!
I registered on an on-line honeymoon registry. My guests bought parts of my honeymoon on this website. The website company is then suppose to send me a check for whatever the amount that was purchased for me by my guests. One check is suppose to be sent to me before my honeymoon and the final check is to be mailed to me 10 days after my honeymoon. My honeymoon was May 12, 2002. I have not yet received my final check. I have left numerous voicemails and emails with no response. I did talk to the owner a few times and each time I am told that my check has been mailed, but I still haven't gotten it yet. What can I do to get my money?

Re: An Internet Company owes me money!
Often times a legal demand letter from an attorney gets quick results. If that does not work, then suit can be filed to collect the money. Where to file the suit would depend on the amount you are trying to collect. Contact me if you need further assistance.
