Purchase Orders as Contracts
A customer places a blanket purchase order for five different ship dates and lists the cost of the product because it's a special price. The manufacturer ships the first container and then tells the customer that they can't honor the sales price for the remainder of the order. The order can be shipped, just not at the sales price.
Is this legal? I thought a purchase order was sort of like a binding contract.

If there's nothing else, in writing or otherwise, then the seller has breached their contract of sale and the buyer has certain remedies available to them.
