Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
thieft of service/stopped payment
I'f I provided service for someone as a Individual and they stop payment after job Is Complete and they sue me.Do I have to Countersue them to get the orignal Amount of money they still Owe.

Yes. You must file an answer to the lawsuit if you haven't already and you should assert all counterclaims and defenses that are available. There are many time deadlines and claims that may be waived if not made. You should consult an attorney.
