Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Vehicle broke down 3 hours after purchase
Bought a car from individual dealer on Ebay. Flew to Texas to pick up. Car had some cosmetic issues that werent disclosed. Back wiper started acting up, dealer said it was fuse and to replace when I get home. On the way back to OK, car acted up and broke down on side of road because of some wiring issues. Had to tow car and have someone pick me up. Dealer said he would pay to ship back and fix, but I am no longer interested in vehicle because it differs from the pics and other issues that could arise with vehicle. Dealer said Texas law was to sign ''As Is'' warranty, so I did. Now I want to know if there is a law if a car breaks down within a certain amount of time, can I get my money back. Because he is willing to pay for mechanical issues, does that void getting any money. So basically, can I get my money back. Car was financed through a bank using a check directly written to dealer. Transaction was done 2 days ago.

Re: Vehicle broke down 3 hours after purchase
Sorry to have to tell you this, but when you buy a used vehicle "as is" it's your problem once you signed the contract. Even if you have to tow it off the lot!
You had a chance to look it over. You could have arranged for a thorough inspection before signing.
That you didn't isn't the dealer's fault.
