Car lot repossesed my car

I bought a car from a used car lot and paid everything but the tax, title, and insurance. They let me take it off the lot if I paid them the $800 for the t&t. I have been strapped for cash and could not make a payment. This is actually my roommate'sproblem. I am trying to find him an answer. One month later they came and repoed his car. Does he have any right to pay a little and regain his car?

Probably not by paying a "little". He would have to pay the repo costs which are pretty sizable - probably more than 1 payment and more than $800.
