Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

money borrowed

My sister in law got letter from court that she needs to pay the house payment otherwise she'd lose the house. Then, she borrowed our money for $9,600 to save her house and we didn't make any kind of agreement or something like that, because I thought she's my family. But I do have the receipt that I wired to her bank account. She promised that she's going to refinance her house before christmas last year and will return the money. She never calls us and always avoiding us whenever we called her. I found that my husband ever borrowed her money &7000 in the past 10 years and she doesn't seem have any intention to return the money. She also borrowed money from my mother in law for $13,000. I'm really upset because I was trying to help to save her house and she doesn't seem appreciated. Couple days ago, I called her at the office and she was shocked. She asked me to hold the telp, then left it unhook on her desk for 15 minutes. I could hear her talking to somebody, later she made noised from plastic bag to iritate my ear. I didn't give up until she hung up the phone. I called her again a minute later, she made the same noises again to iritate my hear. I promises to myself that I won't give up with her.

Re: money borrowed

Sounds like you're going to have to hire a lawyer and sue her. Good Luck.
