Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Payday loans

I live in the state of texas. I took out a payday loan from an online group. Due to my pay check not being direct deposited on time one week, it caused my checking account to go into overdraft. I ask the company to stop drafting on the account and let me get back to the positive side. They continued to draft the account which put me further in debt. I had to close that account and reopen another account or the back was going to close it as it had been in over draft for more than 30 days. Now they are threatening to go to my employer because i used my email address for work and the district attorney in my county. Is this legal? I cannot afford an attorney.

Thank you,

Re: Payday loans

If they have written you to this effect, it may violate fair debt collection law..few lawyers take such cases on strict contingency..
