Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas
Reduction or forgiveness of student loans
I borrowed $57 thousand to go to court reporting school. Before I could finish, I developed carpal tunnel. I am now unemployed and when I work am only able to work part time. I will never be able to make these payments. Is there anyway to get them reduced or forgiven? I am in school and when I am done will be maybe able to work part time as a secretary. Thank you.

You can file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy and file an advesary action claiming a hard ship discharge. It may well work.If you are in the Austin/San Antonio area please call me at 512 392 5010
