Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I am being sued by Citibank over 5000 + 3000 in fees. Within the lawsuit, Citibank is referencing an exhibit of a Citibank Statement as proof. This statement, while it has my name and address, has the account number marked out (all but last four). Within the Plantif's "First Set of Requests for Admission, it is requesting me to admit or deny the ownership of this account. While the last four numbers do match, I feel uncertain to Admit it is my account without seeing the full account number.

Question:

1) Is this acceptable reason to deny? It seems to me this would be insufficient evidence...

2) Can I request extension for the discovery period?

1. Deny the request (your answer is "denied").

2. Don't ask for an extension of the discovery period - it's too complicated, and takes too long, and it's not worth the trouble.
