adjudicated probation
in 2005,i successfully completed 5 years of deferred adjudicated probation.
is there any way to get this off my criminal record? it is interfering with my ability to get a job.

The arrest will be on your record for life. You may seal the arrest only from a very limited group of people. If you seal your record it will not be sealed from any gov. entity, police or any agency that issues professional licences. So if your job prospect is one of the above they will find it. Is there any way to get this off my criminal record? No. However, you can, depending on what the original offense was, can possibly have the Deferred Adjudication sealed by filing a Petition For Non-Disclosure. My advice would be to contact John Donahue, who is a criminal defense attorney up in your area of Texas and talk with him regarding whether you are eligible for filing the Petition.
