Are you allowed to buy/own illegal weapons in Texas for the sake of collection if they never leave your home? i.e. Swords/Certain Knives/etc.

This question is lacking information. Are you a convicted felon? If so, don't do it. If not, you can possess swords and certain knives which are novelties; keep them at home.
