Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Police procedure
My aunt was called by Irving police. A pharmacist she used once had been caught stealing meds. They wanted my aunt to come to the station and if she didn't, they would issue a warrant for her arrest. why? What grounds do they have to issue this warrant?

I have no idea what their grounds are, but if you aunt consulted an attorney (which she should do) I imagine the attorney would want to explore her connection to the pharmacist.
