Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
search warrant
if the police have probal cause to enter a residence by way of a ci and search for drugs but find none in the house and arrest you on two baggies and a marked bill which are outside the residence leave the scene unprotected and return the next day and find drugs on property next to the residence. note you are in jail while the next day search is going on . can that evidence be used against you in court . what should i do please helpppppp.

Whether or not the evidence seized is admissable would be determined by the judge at a pretrial hearing on the Motion to Suppress filed by your lawyer.
If it is admitted as evidence, then your attorney, at trial, will demonstrate that the property was unsecured, and that the drugs could have been left there by anyone.
