Should my son have a lawyer for assault with bodily injury charges filed when his crime was not malicious?

Absolutely! Assault causing bodily injury is a serious offense.

I agree with Mr. Tuthill. Assault causing bodily injury is the highest level misdemeanor offense there is. It carries up to 1 year in jail & up to a $4,000 fine as the highest possible punishments.
