DWI Offense
i was wondering what the statue of limitation was on a DWI? Should i just stay away from texas? I have been pulled over in other states and had no problem.

Am not entirely clear on your question, but will assume you mean that you were charged in Texas with DWI, and then failed to appear and/or left the state.
The Statute of Limitations is tolled (does not run) when a person is outside the state. The Statute pertains to the time between the offense was committed and the charges were filed. It appears that already happened in this case.

The statue of limitations for misdemeanors is 2 years.

I agree with the previous answers. The Statute of Limitations is 2 years, but this applies to the time between the offense and charges being filed. From your question, it sounds like charges were already filed, so if you do not show to court a warrant for your arrest will be issued.
