Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

DWI Probation Violation

I was arrested for PI along with my girlfriend. The arresting office spoke to her, but never said so much as a word to me. I am in my seventh year of DWI probation, and never before had a negative incident. Should I be forthcoming with my PO? What is likely to happen to me with this violation for drinking alcohol?

Re: DWI Probation Violation

Technically, your probation could be revoked because you violated a condition of your probation, i.e., you cannot possess or consume alcoholic beverages while on community supervision. Whether this will actually happen or not depends on the facts of your case, the prosecutor involved, the judge, your probation officer, and what you have or have not done while on probation, etc. You need to start contacting good criminal defense attorneys in your area, and decide which one can help you with your case.
