Legal Question in DUI Law in Texas

M i p - maybe im not guilty?
i was at a freinds apt on a school campus and me and my buddy snuk up alchool to the room then we got busted when we were leaving... two men were sapose to be cops but they didnt write us out the tickets on spot, they took our info and emptyed out the bottles and said they were gonna give it to Houton Police Dept. and then HPD would ''mail'' us ticktes home?? they forced us to give up our social.. when my freind refused to give up his social they thretend to call Houston police dept.(HPD). i was just curious to know can i fite this case becuse if they were real cops they could have gave us tickts on spot right? also why would they need to call HPD when we refused to give up our social. if there is any way around this and or to fite the case what can i do? i have a clean record this is my first offense.. they were spoase to be the college cops and we got in trouble becuse some guy ratted us out??? they had no evidence of us drinking other then assumption.. and the person who owned the apt was 21.. if there is any quesitons that could help me fite this case please let me know.
