According to Art. 12.02 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, "An indictment or information for any misdemeanor may be presented within two years from the date of the commission of the
offense, and not afterward." For Felony DWI, Article 12.01(6)of the same Code provides,
"three (3) years from the date of the commission of the offense for all other felonies.
