Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
child support
I have a case with the Texas Attorney General child support to collect child support for my three kids. Well, the absent parent never kept up with child support payments and to make a long story short he owes me more than $50,000 dollars but they have not been able to collect because; first, he is not working, second, he has no assets to his name, third, he is supposedly trying to claim disability because he is sick. My question is this; Is there another way for me to collect some of this money owed to my kids?

Re: child support
You can hire a private attorney to file a motion to enforce and try to garnish whatever income or benefits he does have. You also seek to suspend his driver's license or any other license he has issued by the state of Texas.
