Transferring Ownership of a Home

My ex-wife & I got divorced August '06. She was supposed to put the home for sale that month. Refused to co-opearte with the realtors. Now home is about to go into foreclosure for non-payment by her. Is there a letter that can be drawn up signing the home and loan over to me and releasing my ex-wife from the home and the mortgage company?

She will need to quitclaim deed the house to you, and you will need to make the payments. Mortgage companies do not release parties until there is payment in full. You should probably file an enforcement action on the divorce decree, and ask to modify the terms of the sale of the residence.
