Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My daughter is 17 and has a 4 month old son who is currently in the hospital for the second time. After discharge the first time, she and her son came home and lived with us. When her son is discharged this time, she wants to take him and move in with her boyfriend who is 19 and lives with his mother. Her son is critically ill. Because she is only 17, can I force her legally to live with us until she is 18? She will be 18 in May 2010.

Hello:

As to forcing your daughter to live with you the short answer is no. I would suggest you consider obtaining custody of your grandson.
