Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My girlfriend and I are having a baby any day and we are not talking. She is already a single mother of four. In the beginning she promised me that i would get custody. Now all of the sudden she cut me off and will not return my calls. My question is if she puts me on the birth certificate and I was able to get posession of the child, would it be hard for her to win custody?

The question about how difficult it would be for her to win custody depends on many factors, including the disposition of the Judge whose Court you land in.

Plan to bring your lawyer about $10,000.00 up front for a custody fight.

And please don't plan on grabbing the child and then filing something with the Court. That's a very bad idea.
