Once the divorce is final, the property division is final. There are ways to alter it, but from the facts you've provided, I don't think they apply in your case.
However, custody, which we call conservatorship in the family law world, can be reversed. File a petition to modify the parent-child relationship, allege that there has been a material change in circumstances involving the child, that you expect the child to express a preference to come live with you if interviewed by the court, and that your ex has voluntarily relinquised actual possession of the child for more than 6 months. Allege all three of these things in your petition.
You will need a family law attorney. If you don't think you can afford on, please contact the Texas Legal Services Center (www.tlsc.org) and they will try to refer you to a good attorney who will handle your case at a significant discount.
Good luck!!
