How do I file a motion for judge to confer with child?

See if the county law library has a form, which you can fill out, sign, and take to the clerk's office. If you can't find a form, I imagine if you put up a paid question on LawGuru, someone would fill out the form and send it to you within a few hours.

The court MUST confer with a child older than 12 years old in cases where conservatorship is at issue. Both of those conditions must be met. You should also know that some judges won't do the interview themselves--they will appoint an amicus attorney to do the work for them. That's usually a better plan anyway.
