Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Husband walked out and left me with no money, nothing. He stopped payments on the house ,turned of electricty,water,ect. I was evicted and how have nothing becuase of him. He wants me to sign a waiver with the divorce papers but I want to try to see if there is something I can do to turn this situation around..How does he get to be able to walk away just like that..together toal 13 yrs but only been married since 2008..Please help..

You really need to sit down with an attorney to discuss your options. You haven't given enough information to truly answer on this email site. Perhaps you can get some temporary spousal support to help you get re-started. I can't answer without knowing more information. You need to retain the service of an attorney. If you have no money perhaps a pro bono (free) attorney can help you. Perhaps in your county there are free attorneys or an attorney through a law school clinic. Check around - try the State Bar of Texas website or your local attorney bar association.
