Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Jurisdication

The divorce was filed in one county in Texas. Both parties have lived in another county for almost a year. How can we change jurisdicition to they county where both parties and the children now reside? What if one of the parties protest to the change?

If agreed, just submit to the court an agreed order of transfer. If contested, you will need to discuss this matter with an attorney. It very well may be too late but there are other options that may be open.
