Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

recovering personal property

My daughter and I have recently moved out of Arizona. Due to the tense situation with my parents, much of our personal belongings, including all her baby pictures remain at their residence(s). Is there any way to legally recover our things? There is currently little to no communication with these family members. Thank you.

Re: recovering personal property

Since the property was left in Arisona, I believe you need an Arizona lawyer. If this were in Texas,I would tell you to write a letter to your parents identifying the property, explaining that you did not intend to abandon it.

You need to make arrangments for it to be returned to you. Perhaps you could provide them an address and offer to pay the shipping expenses.
