Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have a stand possession order in Texas and I am the primary. My daughter has been at her fathers since June 25th and it ends on July 31st for his extended summer possession. He is saying that she isn't going to be home till August 2nd because July 31st ends on a Friday and it is his 5th weekend of July. I told him no that isn't how it works but wanted to double check. So is he suppose to bring her home on Friday July 31st of August 2nd?

I think your husband has a point. You really need to look at the decree to see which has priority. Frankly, I would let him have her until the 2nd.. This is not the kind of thing that is likely to recur. If later on you want to file a motion to enforce, if this is a violation, it is something you can add to other violations.
