Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation rights for out-of-state parents

I am a resident of California, and am interested in exercising my summer visitation rights to my two minor children who reside with their father in Texas. What steps do I need to take, and what state should I retain a lawyer in?

I suggest that you confer with an experienced family law lawyer in the state in which the underlying custody\visitation orders were made.

Good luck to you!
