Legal Question in Medical Leave in Texas

FMLA and Children with Disabilities

Does the family medical leave act include absences for doctor appointments related to a child's disability. I have a two year old with spina bifida. He has at least ten appointments a year for medical issues related to his birth defect and disability.

Yes. These are the type of periodic absences which are also covered by FMLA.
